STARTLING STORIES, Spr 1944, Bergey GGA cover

Nice wartime issue of this popular “Thrilling Group” SF pulp. Norman A. Daniels, taking time off from his hero-pulp chores, contributes “The Great Ego,” this number’s lead story. Fan favorite Stanley Weinbaum is on hand with “The Point of View,” reprinted from a 1936 issue of Wonder Stories. Striking cover by Earle Bergrey. Condition: Fine. Minor edge wear on bottom includes shallow chip at left (see scan) and several small tears on back cover, which otherwise is clean. Spine is complete and brightly colored. Inside pages are white, a rarity at any time but particularly scarce in wartime issues of Thrilling pulps. A real beauty overall.
